Processing fees, and the cover toggle
Stripe takes a card fee. Donors are offered the chance to cover it, and most do. Not one cent of it is ours.
Every card payment costs a processing fee. It goes to Stripe, the card networks, and the banks. Fundly takes none of it and never has.
The cover toggle on the donate page
The donation page shows a full width switch, on by default, that reads something like: "Cover the $0.74 processing fee so all $20 reaches the team." One tap turns it off and it stays off.
The button underneath always shows the true total, so what the donor is charged is always the number they were shown. It is never described as a tip, and it never supports Fundly.
What that means for your numbers

The rate
The rate is set per organization, and the standard card rate is the default. Organizations approved for Stripe’s nonprofit rate get that one instead. Either way the page calculates from your organization’s actual rate, so the number a donor is shown is the number that will be taken.
