Stop accepting donations
Press Close fundraising and confirm. It takes effect immediately and nothing you raised is affected.
- 1.On your dashboard, find Close fundraising under your dates.
- 2.Press it. It asks you to confirm.
- 3.Press Yes, close fundraising.
It takes two taps on purpose. Stopping donations is the one control on this page that costs money if it is hit by accident, and a booster with a phone in one hand at a field is exactly the person who would hit it. Starting again takes one tap, because starting is safe.
What closing does
- New donations stop straight away, whatever your dates say.
- Your page stays up and still shows everything you raised.
- Your roster, your links, and your QR codes are all untouched.
- Nothing already given is affected in any way.
Starting again
Press Open fundraising. Your dates still apply, so opening cannot start donations before your opening date or restart them after your closing date has passed. If you want to run past your original end date, change the date as well.
