What we hold about athletes
A first name, a last initial, and a four character code. Nothing else, anywhere, ever.
This is the answer to give a parent who asks, and it is short enough to give from memory.
What is held
- A first name and a last initial.
- A four character code.
- The donations credited to that code.
What is not held
- No photographs. There is no photography anywhere in this product.
- No student emails, no phone numbers, no addresses.
- No birthdates, no grades, no jersey numbers, no school ID.
- No accounts. An athlete has nothing to log into and no password anywhere.
What is public
The program page shows first name and last initial on a leaderboard, alongside amounts raised. That is the same information printed in a game program, and it is what makes a fundraiser work.
A family who wants no name shown
Hide them. Their name comes off the public pages and shows as Team instead, their link keeps working, and their donations still count. Nobody has to opt out of the team to opt out of the leaderboard. See Athletes shown as Team.
Nothing is ever sent to an athlete
No texts, no emails, no reminders, no notifications. There is no messaging service wired into this platform at all. Every link a kid has was handed to them by you.
