When something is wrong

Nothing is coming in

Work down this list in order. The answer is almost always the sentence at the top of your own dashboard.

1. Read the tile at the top of your dashboard

It says, in one large sentence, whether you are taking donations and until when. It is the first thing on the page for exactly this reason. If it says anything other than open, that is your answer.

The tile saysWhat to do
Closed, or Opens on a future dateYour dates are the problem. See Set your fundraising dates.
Something about your organization’s seasonYour district is what is shut, and your own dates cannot open it. Contact your foundation.
Open, with a date in the futureYou are live. Keep reading.

2. Check for the amber notice

If your organization is not switched on yet, an amber panel near the top of your dashboard says so and your public pages will not load at all. Nothing you do on your own dashboard changes that. See Start accepting donations.

Press Copy link on any athlete row, paste it into your phone browser, and try to give a dollar yourself. Two minutes of this answers more than an hour of guessing. Whatever a parent is seeing, you will see it too.

4. Then ask whether anybody has actually been asked

This is the real answer far more often than anything technical. Fundly sends nothing on its own. If the cards are still in a stack in your car, nobody has been asked to give.

  • Look at the Athletes number. It tells you how many kids have at least one donation. If it is 3 of 22, the links did not reach 19 families.
  • Hand out the cards at practice. See Print athlete cards.
  • Post the whole set to the team chat. See Send every link at once.
